Sandals Whitehouse Temporary closure from August 17 to December 18, 2009 & Feature Resort

Gordon “Butch” Stewart, chairman of Sandals Resorts International (SRI), has announced that Sandals Whitehouse European Village & Spa, located in Westmoreland, Jamaica, will temporarily close on August 17, 2009 for upgrades and renovations, with plans of reopening December 18, 2009. As part of Sandals Resorts’ commitment to exceeding guests’ expectations time and time again, the renovations to the South Coast resort will further enhance the Luxury Included® experience for all resort travelers.
Guests scheduled to travel to Sandals Whitehouse while the resort remains closed are given the option of relocating to any one of the other 11 Sandals Resorts or four Beaches Resorts properties in the Caribbean. To ensure an easy transition for resort guests, SRI will also absorb an airline change fee of up to $150 per person for those travelers relocating to any of the other Sandals Resorts or Beaches Resorts properties outside of Jamaica. Certain restrictions and black-out dates apply.
